The world's largest supply platform for sources of shortages and hard-to-find parts
Supplier Introduction

Every system solution begins with a smart, practical product that solves a problem.

The manufacturers represented by Anderson Electronics create products that can save your employer time and money. What’s more, theirlocal applications expertise, backed by factory specialists, will assist you with difficult or special requirements.

Their Sales & Support team represents decades of practical experience in solving measurement and testing problems for engineers and technicians in Michigan.

ASG specializes in position sensors for hydraulic and pneumatic actuator/cylinder applications. The MR series (port-mount) and ME series (embedded) linear sensors were designed as an improvement over traditional magnetostrictive or potentiometer solutions, as they require no magnet and can take much higher shocks and vibration while maintaining a high level of resolution. Each sensor has the SenSet? calibration feature allowing the sensor, after installation, to be calibrated to the exact cylinder’s stroke.

Campbell Scientific’s CR6 measurement and control datalogger is a powerful core component for your data-acquisition system. CS combined the best features of all their dataloggers and added faster communication, low power requirements, built in USB, compact size, and improved analog input accuracy and resolution. The CR6 also introduces their new universal (U) terminal, an ingenious way to allow virtually any sensor—analog, digital, or smart—to be connected to any U terminal. This is also their first multipurpose datalogger capable of doing static vibrating-wire measurements.

Burst plugs (rupture disks) relieve overpressure conditions in a sealed fluid system. This result is similar to the fuse links in an electrical circuit. Designed as the intentional weak link, they rupture at a predetermined process pressure value (called “burst pressure”), this protects people, products, and machinery.

Dynisco’s BP420 Series burst plug body is made of Series 303 stainless steel. The internal rupture disk is Inconel, a material that withstands the rigors of plastic extrusion systems. Available in a range of pressure burst points, threads, and lengths, the BP420 has a 900F/482C maximum temperature rating. Due to the properties of Inconel, however, rising temperature will have an influence on the actual burst point, which decreases (as a percentage of burst pressure range) as the process temperature increases.

It is important for users to select an appropriate pressure range at the outset. This is especially so if your process is on the higher end of the pressure and the temperature ranges.
