1. Scheme introduction:
Due to the low price and popularity of Android phones and tablets, many kinds of applications have been generated, which enable tablets and mobile phones to not only communicate with each other, but also directly use mobile phones on various terminal devices as industry or IOT related applications. Through the USB cable drive free open access (AOA) scheme, Android mobile tablets can not only communicate with devices directly, but also provide power to mobile tablets through peripherals.
2. Main functions and performance parameters:
• Open source solution using FT311D/FT312D Android USB peripherals
• FT311D is the interface conversion IC for USB (Host) to UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO (one out of four)
• FT312D is the interface conversion IC from USB (Host) to high-speed UART
• UMFT311EV is an Android AOA development board
