Supplier Introduction

UTMC is based in Colorado, USA, and was founded by UTC in 1980. It was originally the research department of UTC Corporation and began production in 1986. The company sold its wafer factory in 1995, specializing in the production of high-reliability XLSI circuits for aerospace and military applications. The company was acquired by Aeroflex in New York in 1999 and is currently a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. 

Over the years, UTMC has developed a series of military products and anti-radiation products, and is a leader in this field. The company's standard products include: microcontrollers, logic circuits, programmable logic, memory and serial communication interfaces. All products comply with military standards MIL-STD-1553 and 1773 and are evaluated according to the test methods specified in MIL-PRF-38535.

UTMC Microelectronics - Aeroflex  Company Overview

In February, 1999, UTMC was acquired by the Aeroflex Corporation to form Aeroflex UTMC. The company further diversified its product portfolio in 2000 with mixed-signal design, fabrication, assembly and test services from chip development through production.
