Peregrine ’s semiconductor solutions use proprietary UltraCMOS? technology, which enables the design and manufacture of a single chip integrated with multiple RF mixed-signal and digital functions. UltraCMOS RF process technology is an advanced form of silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology that combines the basic advantages of the most widely used semiconductor process, "standard CMOS," with a highly insulating substrate. A unique generation of products using UltraCMOS technology is called "STePs", each node enables greater design flexibility and enhanced RF performance.
