RTD2166 is a DP port to VGA converter with high cost. In 2019, CS5212 was launched. It is directly Pin to pin compatible to replace RTD2166. The original RTD2166 small board frame can be used, and 20 small peripheral materials can be saved. The cost is more optimized. Currently Has been adopted by a large number of customers.
CS5212 combines DP input interface and analog RGB DAC output interface. Embedded microcontrollers based on the industry-standard 8051 core are suitable for several market segments and display applications such as notebooks, motherboards, desktops, adapters, converters and interposers.
